✅ Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check for Obstructions:

    • Inspect the press bar guide rails for debris, glue build-up, or foreign objects.

    • Ensure no panel or loose parts are stuck under the bar.

  2. Inspect Pneumatics or Motor Drive:

    • If the press bar is pneumatic, check for proper air pressure.

    • If motor-driven, check for motor load spikes or coupling misalignment.

  3. Lubrication & Mechanical Inspection:

    • Make sure the vertical guide shafts or rails are well-lubricated.

    • Inspect the coupling unit for signs of wear, slippage, or physical damage.

  4. Check Sensors and Limits:

    • Ensure the upper/lower limit switches or proximity sensors are not misaligned or damaged.

    • If the sensors are faulty, the machine may falsely detect resistance or misposition.

  5. Reset the Alarm:

    • Go to the “ALARMS” screen.

    • Review the activation details and press RESET once the issue is resolved.

    • Recalibrate the press bar movement if necessary (based on the machine manual).

🛠️ Preventive Tips:

  • Regularly clean the press bar mechanism.

  • Lubricate moving parts weekly.

  • Perform a weekly test cycle without material to detect resistance early.

  • Train operators to avoid loading panels too high or off-centre, which can overload the system.
